A Good French Louis Philippe Period Fossilised Marble & Flame Mahogany Guéridon c.1835Origin: French Period: Louis Philippe Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1830 40 Height: 29 Diameter: 31. 75 (at top) The slate grey circular fossilised marble top over a well figured mahogany carcass of superb colour, having a faceted baluster column, scrolled triform plateau and lions paw feet surviving from the second quarter of nineteenth century France. The table is in fair to good overall order. There are a handful of sections of loss to the veneer on

one of which was King Ramses I

though not contrived and of a desirable appearance
