Description

De Forville Dolcetto d’Alba 2025This typical red of the Langhe region is harvested from three separate parcels spread between the communes of Barbaresco and Neive. The vines are an average age of 30 years. After a fermentation of approximately 10 days in stainless steel, the wine is racked into large oak botti for about six months, being bottled at the onset of summer of the following year.

It undergoes a three-week fermentation in stainless steel with twice-daily punch-downs and occasional pump-overs

but their aim here is a more complex and mineral-dominated character than the flagship—a profile enhanced by spending more time on the lees before disgorgement

and it finishes with a gentle swell of tannins but remains firmly on the side of friendly drinkability

and this cuvée comes from a parcel of 30-year-old Chardonnay planted in extremely stony

Just like Le Puy's vineyards
